Booby Kids (ブービーキッズ) is an action video game for the Nintendo Family Computer. This video game is the home conversion of Nichibutsu's arcade game, Kid no Hore Hore Daisakusen (キッドのホレホレ大作戦), that was originally supposed to be named Booby Kids. In 1993, Nichibutsu released for the Game Boy a similar game entitled Booby Boys.

Boulder Dash (バルダーダッシュ, Barudā Dasshu?), originally released in 1984 for Atari 8-bit computers, is a series of computer games released for the Apple II, MSX, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, and ColecoVision home computers, and later ported to the NES, BBC Micro and Acorn Electron, PC, Amstrad CPC, Amiga and many other platforms. It was created by Peter Liepa and Chris Gray, and on October 28, 1983, acquired and later published by First Star Software, which still[update] owns the rights to the game. Boulder Dash inherits numerous gameplay similarities from the earlier 1982 arcade game The Pit, by Japanese developer Taito. The game's protagonist is called "Rockford". He must dig through caves collecting gems and diamonds and reach the exit within a time limit, while avoiding various types of dangerous creatures as well as obstacles like falling rocks and the constant danger of being crushed or trapped by an avalanche, or killed by an underground explosion. The Commodore 64 version of the first game was also re-released on the Virtual Console in Europe on September 19, 2008, and in North America on June 1, 2009, but was removed from the service in 2013.

Bubble Bobble (バブルボブル, Baburu Boburu?) is an arcade game by Taito, first released in 1986 and later ported to numerous home computers and game consoles. The game, starring the twin Bubble Dragons Bub (Bubblun) (バブルン, Baburun?) and Bob (Bobblun) (ボブルン, Boburun?), is an action-platform game in which players travel through one hundred different stages, blowing and bursting bubbles, dodging enemies and collecting a variety of items. The game became very popular and led to a long series of sequels and spin-offs. The main goal of the game is to rescue Bub and Bob's girlfriends from Robots, among other enemies. It is an early example of a game with multiple endings, which depend on the player's performance and discovery of secrets.[citation needed]

Bubble Bobble Part 2 (バブルボブル2) is a game in the Bubble Bobble series. While it was never released in the arcade, two versions of the game were developed independently from each other (for the NES and Game Boy formats), with each game receiving a different story line as a result. The Game Boy version is known in Japan as Bubble Bobble Junior (バブルボブルジュニア).

The Datach (データック, Dētakku) or Datach Joint ROM System, was an add-on accessory by Bandai for the Family Computer and was released on December 29, 1992. It was packaged with one game, Dragon Ball Z: Gekitō Tenkaichi Budokai. Six other games that were released for it, including one of the last games for the Famicom system in 1994. It is one of two mini systems compatible with the NES/Famicom, the other being the Aladdin Deck Enhancer. The Datach consists of a cartridge connection at its bottom, a central cartridge chamber on its back, with two spring-loaded pins on either side, which are pushed up when the unit is inserted into the Famicom, allowing the game to only be removed when the Datach has been removed from the Famicom. Its main feature is the card reading slot on the front. The cartridges resemble half-size Famicom cartridges. One side of the cartridge is flat with title sticker, while the other side is sloped inward with notches on the left and right, which correspond to the spring pins on the main Datach unit. The cards that come with the games are swiped from left to right along the card slot; they are glossy on the front with an image of the character and the backs are smooth usually having the title of the game and barcode. All cartridges, boxes, instructions have the standard FF (Famicom Family) insignia, showing they are officially licensed by Nintendo.
