A homebrew project that started in October, 2008, this game marks the first major platformer release for the NES since Sunday Funday in 1995. Prior to making this game, I had only done small, simple games to help grasp the concepts of NES programming. After making three such games, I decided to try something much bigger. Close to a year of programming later, everything was done and the game itself was officially released on February 22, 2010. Inspired from the indie game "I Wanna be the Guy" and other classic platformers, the game follows the style dubbed Metroidvania in that you do not have stages, but rather one large area to freely explore. You always die in one hit, but there are unlimited continues in the normal difficulty as well as a password system to resume where you last left off. In total, there are over 550 rooms, 8 bosses, and over 30 different types of enemies. You will also obtain items along the way that grant you new abilities such as higher jumping or slower falling in order to travel to new areas of the fortress.

BurgerTime (バーガータイム, Bāgātaimu?) is a 1982 arcade game created by Data East for its DECO Cassette System. The game's original title, Hamburger (ハンバーガー?), was changed to BurgerTime before its introduction to the US. The player is chef Peter Pepper, who must walk over hamburger ingredients located across a maze of platforms while avoiding pursuing characters. The game was popular in arcades.[citation needed] In the US, Data East USA licensed BurgerTime for distribution by Bally Midway. The Data East and Midway versions are distinguished by the manufacturer's name on the title screen and by the marquee and cabinet artworks.According to Twin Galaxies, the record high score on BurgerTime is 11,512,500 points, set by Bryan L. Wagner in 2008.When Data East went bankrupt in 2003, G-Mode bought most of Data East's intellectual properties, including BurgerTime, BurgerTime Deluxe, Super BurgerTime, and Peter Pepper's Ice Cream Factory.

Captain America and the Avengers (キャプテンアメリカアンドジアベンジャーズ Kyaputen Amerika ando ji Abenjāzu?) is an arcade game developed and released by Data East in 1991. It features the Marvel Comics characters The Avengers in a side-scrolling brawling and shooting adventure to defeat the evil Red Skull. The game received ports for the Mega Drive, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Game Boy and Game Gear. A different version was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Dalton James Patrick McGuinty, Jr., (born July 19, 1955) is a Canadian politician. He was the 24th Premier of Ontario, Canada, from 2003 to 2013. McGuinty is generally regarded as holding moderately center to left views on economic issues, with his first budget raising personal taxes and planning to eliminate the province's tax on the capital of corporations. He holds liberal views on social issues, supporting abortion rights and same-sex marriage. First elected to the premiership in 2003, with his reelection in 2007, McGuinty became the first Ontario Liberal to win two majority governments since Mitchell Hepburn nearly 70 years earlier. In 2011, he became the first Liberal premier to secure a third consecutive term since Sir Oliver Mowat, after his party was re-elected in that year's provincial election, albeit with a minority. On October 15, 2012, McGuinty announced that he would resign from his position as leader and premier of Ontario. Following an Ontario Liberal Party leadership convention Kathleen Wynne was sworn in as Premier on February 11, 2013. He resigned his seat in the Ontario legislature on June 12, 2013.
